Zephir Flex began with a question. What if wind blows against the font? The letters lean into it: stem tops curve away, soft serifs stream off to the left, and every corner facing the gust is rounded smooth.

That gust lives on a variable axis. Slide it and the wind picks up. The serifs appear, the letters take on motion. Slide it back and the type falls calm and sans again. A second axis controls weight, from a delicate hairline to a heavy black.
